The Circles - From Wolverhampton with their Brand New Album "Live at Norbreck Castle, Blackpool 1980 plus bonus track"
Loved by Radio One’s Mike Reed and John Peel, the Circles were one of those bands that got oh so close! Seeing three singles, a re-release of one on Chrysalis Records and write ups in both Sounds and NME the question is WHY? Why did the Circles not see their life follow the same path as the likes of the Chords and Secret Affair. But do we care? Hell no - there’s no doubt - the Circles were one of the best bands to come out of the ‘79 revival era.
Those four fresh faced guys are back, ready to do their thang at the Mods Mayday 99 event, hear them now documented for ever on the only Mod label that counts - Detour!
