Detour Records are proud to announce their latest release on the ‘Paisley Archive’ label. Forming in Saarbrucken, Germany in the early 90s, this band first came to our attention and was recommended to us by Jon-Paul Harper of the legendary Clique. They toured regularly with The Clique along with Thee Cherylinas who were also from Saarbrucken. With the help of JP Harper, we released the ‘Shout & Scream’ album on our Detour label, this was in fact our very first album with the catalogue number of DRLP/DRCD001. The album sold well and we quickly signed the band up and then went onto release a studio album and two singles all of which sold well. The band gigged constantly throughout Europe and were fast becoming a band that you had too see with their explosive hi-energy set. Thomas, the singer was here, there, everywhere…. When we caught them at the St. John’s Tavern in London in the mid 90s he even ventured into the toilets while still belting out the lyrics… Along side ‘Thomas’ was the wild axeman guitarist ‘Johannes’, the mighty aggressive in yer face ‘Nuss’ on bass with ‘Jean-Marc’ on drums. Fast forward 20 odd years and they are back AND are as explosive as ever after catching them live at Modstock last year., ‘Johannes’ and ‘Jean-Marc’ have since left but now have the larger than life presence of ‘Brix’ on guitar and the powerhouse Thomas Rau on drums… Since catching up with the band at Modstock, Nuss confessed to us that it was the bands dream to make a live album... “We've always been more a live act that a studio band…” So here we give you the band at their best in front of their home crowd with all their hits with a splattering of their favourite covers.
