The DBC - Dave Barker collective is a loose confederation of musicians comprising the maestro himself multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Dave Barker with friends like Simon Stebbing from the Purple Hearts and Speakeasy on guitar and Mark Le Gallez, the Guernsey singer from The Risk and Thee Jenerators on guest vocals plus Matt Gallagher from Wille and the Bandits alsp involved., Mixing elements of Acid Jazz style groove and ska and referencing cool bands like XTC and the Doors who would have thought Dave would have made Preston cool, well it always was, and here is the evidence to prove it.
This is the first release from the collective as a vinyl ep and of course streaming everywhere as things do nowadays grab a copy when it comes out or do the digital thingy and hopefully a full length LP so make a cup of tea or even better grab a beer and let the DBC entertain your ear.
