Every year again, classic radio stations say there is a typical "Summer Hit", but they always choose the wrong one.
Of course the tracks on "Casual As" won't make it to one of those classic broadcasters, but in fact the six songs would perfectly fit that fram. Some Powerpop, some Soul, some Mod, the voice of singer Davey (who was in SUEDEHEAD before) makes the perfect match.
Dress well, listen to THE JAM or THE UNDERTONES, add some california Punk (ADOLESCENTS, FACE TO FACE…) and you'll get an idea of the sound of SHARP / SHOCK. This record is a one-sided UV-digitally printed 12", looks great, sounds great! This is not a picture disc, the whole thing is manufactured using the UV-PRINT process and pressed on vinyl, which increases the sound quality considerably compared to conventional picture discs!
