A Must have French release on the 'Fish & Cheap' label.... This band were from Northern Ireland and did one amazing Powerpop single back in 1979 that now fetches £300+. Both sides are great uptempo Powerpop!
Formed in East Belfast in the late 1970s, this melodic four-piece quickly gained notoriety in Belfast’s underground music scene. With teenagers Alasdair Moore, Chris Burrell, Garth Evens, and Philip McClelland at the helm, the band performed at iconic punk venues like The Harp Bar and The Pound, standing shoulder to shoulder with influential acts like Rudi and Protex. Although the band disbanded in the early 1980s, their music has remained an enduring part of Belfast’s punk legacy. Initially recorded in the late '70s but only released sporadically on various compilations, "I Want You" and "I Don’t Wanna Be" now find a new home in this 2024 limited edition vinyl pressing by Fish and Cheap Records. The tracks offer a raw, authentic snapshot of the band’s energy and melodic punk style, capturing the angst and spirit of a bygone era. This is a great chance to reconnect with a piece of Belfast’s musical heritage. Grab your copy while this exclusive reissue lasts!
