The Rising are back with another double A-side single taken from their long awaited, soon to be released second album. Both songs were recorded at the world famous Rockfield Studios in Monmouth, Wales in October 2015 by Tim Lewis (Spiritualized).

The tracks see the band experiment with more modern sounds and recording techniques, edging towards a more psychedelic sound than their previous recordings. Plus they have now added another member to the band, making them a seven piece. This new member is Emily Blackledge who has been brought in to provide backing vocals alongside drummer Matt Stanton to Tommy Overington's unique voice and add depth to their already huge sound! All 3 vocals blend and complement each other superbly!!

The single will again be released on a limited edition 7" vinyl press of 250 copies and will also be available to download.

Sometimes a record comes out and the flip is better than the A side , but not in this case - i'm thinking ahead and this must be a double A , as both tracks are brilliantly written and so different in many ways, The Rising have changed if this is the right word - NO its not.... evolved is a more realistic expression!! don't let me tell you how good this is on here - purchase this little nugget for yourselves and understand if the band change their name sometime in the future (to THE RISEN)
