Featuring guest vocals on two tracks by the incredible Dani Turner (think a modern-day Maggie Bell), this E.P. is the sound of a band with talent to burn and a point to prove. Pinballing between soulful, Small Faces-style electric boogaloo (‘Rolling With The Punches’), full-tilt psychedelic rock (a rip-roaring version of classic debut single ‘Double Decker Bus’), Hammond-heavy blues (a hypnotic ’South Of The River’) and molten, Who-esque power pop (a feedback drenched ‘The Other Me’), this is a band reborn and back to their, explosive, ultra-melodic best.
